Daily air pollution
Description
Sausage factory puts out smoke daily that permeates and enters the surrounding businesses and residences. Raw meat can be found on the sidewalk outside the factory. Toxic spray painting fumes enter surrounding businesses and residences. Trash and debris from the factory gets windblown and enters surrounding businesses and residences. Horrible rotting meat smells are produced that permeate the surrounding area when the sausage factory dumps the trash/meat into a truck for disposal.

An Air Quality Inspector has been notified of this complaint.

An Air Quality Inspector responded to address and made contact with a plant operator to inform them of the odor complaint. The Inspector confirmed that no spray painting takes place at the facility. The Inspector determined that the site is in compliance with applicable BAAQMD regulations. BAAQMD is unable to address solid waste complaints.
